Use of anyways and ways, for anyway and way. Seems to be written for a younger audience, but that does not mean it should be written as if by one of them. How then, will they learn good English? It's in first person, and written so that instead of experiencing their view, everything is described and spelled out. The dialogue is stilted and unnatural.
